I took my boy out for some fun. Don't you just love a little boy in overalls? so adorablly cute. matt has two pair and he likes them too, which makes mommy very happy.
Btw, it's totally overexposed. I stink at fill flash. I have read and read and read and I still overexpose the shot. do you have to use manual? I dialed down my flash exposure compensation a full stop. maybe I should have done two. : s

Hi Amy, Are you using your histogram? (I suppose I should ask if you are shooting digital but I seem to remember you are.) I'm not an expert with fill flash but if you use your histogram you'll be able to tell right away if you've over exposed the shot. Check this site for more info about histograms. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/understanding-series/understanding-histograms.shtml You'll have to check your camera's manual on how to set them. I never shoot without this feature anymore!
