I got a replacement for my broken 50mm 1.8 today in the mail. I immediately had to rip into the package and start shooting. Luckily, Libby was a coorperative model. She sat for me nicely for each shot and then came running over to see the picture on the camera . . . and all the other pictures too.

Stock work

I got the chance this weekend to play with strobe lighting and still life. I'm going to dive into the micro stock trade and wanted a few photos to put in my portfolio. I never thought fruit could be so much fun. ;)

July 1: the bride and groom

this is my youngest sister. she looked so beautiful. I am so happy they wanted me to be their photographer for their big day. I did offer, but they were excited I wanted to do it and are excited to see the pics, so I'm posting some teasers for them. ;)

July 1: My sister's wedding

I chose these mostly because they are good shots of the girls' dresses. My sister (the oldest, mom of four of the girls and not the bride) and I made the flower girl and jr. bridesmaid dresses. they looked so cute.


ok, so there's no dresses here, but this is still one of my favorite pictures from the day. Nicole loves her nieces and you can totally see it here.
